Vedic age - Jainism and Buddhism

Brief Information: Vedic age started from 1500 BC and lasted till 600 BC. It is divided into two phase – Early Vedic Period and Later Vedic Period. On the other hand Jainism and Buddhism (Shramana) began as reaction to degrading vedic culture which over stressed upon sacrifice, rituals and caste rigidity.
