Statutory, Regulatory and Quasi-judicial bodies

Brief Information:  The bodies formed by act passed by the Parliament or Legislative Assembly are called Statutory Body e.g National Commission for Women. The bodies made for Regulation of any area of society are called Regulatory Bodies e.g SEBI, IRDA. The bodies which are not the court of law but are empowered to adjudicate are called Quasi-judicial bodies e.g National Green Tribunals
