Scheme of Selection for SI

The Selection of the candidate for the post of Sub Inspector (SI) will be based on three stages – Computer Based Recruitment Examination, Physical Standard Measurement and Physical Eligibility Test.

Computer Based Recruitment Examination: The exam will have 2 paper – Paper 1: General English and Odia (100 marks) and Paper 2: General studies (100 marks)The exam will have Objective Type questions (Multiple Choice Question). The correct answer will carry 1 mark and wrong answer carry 0.25 negative marks.

Computer Based Recruitment Examination: The exam will have 1 paper of 2 Parts – Paper A: General English and Odia, Arithmetic, Aptitude Test, and Logical reasoning (25 marks) and Paper B: Question based on Proficiency in Computer (75 marks)The exam will have Objective Type questions (Multiple Choice Question). The correct answer will carry 1 mark and wrong answer carry 0.25 negative marks Three time the candidates as per vacancy passing written test will be called for the Physical Standard and Physical Eligibility Test
