GPSC Assistant Engineer GMB Recruitment 2021 - 22

Brief Information: Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) has published notification for the recruitment of Assistant Engineer – CIVIL, MECHANICAL & ELECTRICAL Class 2 for Gujarat Maritime Board (GMB). There are 27 vacancies of Assistant Engineer (Civil) 18 vacancies of Assistant Engineer (Mechanical) and 02 of Assistant Engineer (Electrical).

The Last date to apply for the post will be 31st July 2020. The will candidates can visit official site GPSC OJAS for online form.

Qualification
Assistant Engineer (Civil)– 1. Posses a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil) or Technology (Civil) obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the central or State Act in India or any other Educational Institution 2. Possess the basic knowledge of computer application 3. Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi Or Both Assistant Engineer (Mechanical)– 1. Posses a Bachelor Degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the central or State Act in India or any other Educational Institution 2. Possess the basic knowledge of computer application 3. Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi Or Both. Assistant Engineer (Electrical)– 1. Posses a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical) or Technology (Electrical) obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the central or State Act in India or any other Educational Institution 2. Possess the basic knowledge of computer application 3. Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi Or Both
Salary
Assistant Engineer – Pay scale Rs. 44,900-1,42,400/- [Level-8] in the GMB Service.

Mode of Selection
The candidates will be selected based on the Prelims Test and Inteview. Prelims Test – Total 300 Marks. The Duration for the exam will be 3 hours (180 minutes). The prelims paper will have 2 parts. Part-A: General Studies 100-Questions-100 Marks and Part-B: Engineering Subject Aptitude 200-Questions, 200 Marks Inteview – 100 Marks For preparation of Merit list – 50% Weightage of Prelim’s Marks & 50% Weightage of Interview Marks
